Frogmary Farm Frosty Morning

Leapfrog into Spring at Frogmary Green Farm

Spring has sprung on the Farm

Where did January go? Now into February there is just a hint of spring - with slightly longer hours of daylight, snowdrops, daffodils, catkins and a dawn chorus from the birds that’s becoming just a little louder.

I always find this a very exciting time of year with the anticipation of what the weather is going to be like and how the crops will respond and grow. We were very spoilt with two swans using our ponds for their winter break; they have now flown being replaced with our resident family of Canada geese.

Winter servicing of equipment and routine work hauling feedstock for the AD plant takes most of our time. With early signs of spring, this will soon all change.

We’re very excited to be hosting our EASTER FAYRE again this year. We introduced the Easter Fayre to our event’s line up last year and we were thrilled that so many of you came along and so pleased to hear that everyone enjoyed the day so much.

With that in mind, we are planning another fun packed Easter Fayre this year on SATURDAY 31st MARCH - with all the same family friendly fun and games - along with our Frogmary Market and tea room hosting many local producers. We’ll have more information for you soon. Keep your bunny ears to the ground!
